Solve the mystery of the missing Emma

Emma has disappeared and has been missing for three days. Even her best friend Mike doesn’t know where she is or what has happened to her. She doesn’t answer her cell phone and her father doesn’t know where she is either. That’s not really her style at all. Sure, Emma is a bit weird sometimes, for example when she had her manga phase and was always drawing. Or when she discovered a new game that she played day and night and was barely responsive. Mike has already called her mother Beatrice, who has been living in Giessen since Emma separated from her father. But that’s not the case either. And now? Mike is really desperate! Can you help Mike find Emma?

When does it start and how can I take part?

Nebolus is a rally that takes place on 18. and May 19 and on June 8 and 9 in Fulda. You can find out exactly which rally you will be taking part in from your teacher and from us by email. Nebolus is played via an app on your smartphone, which takes you to various locations in Fulda in search of Emma. At each location, you will receive clues that will help you on your search for clues. You can play Nebolus Fulda in groups of up to five people (i.e. you and up to four other friends). You determine the groups together as a class. Before you register for Nebolus Fulda, please read the following requirements:

  1. You are at least 12 years old.
  2. If you are under 16 years old, you must ask your parents for their permission to take part in the Rally Fulda. You will receive further information from your teacher.
  3. You need a smartphone with the Nebolus app. You will receive the link from us by e-mail.
  4. You have no physical limitations that prevent you from visiting the various stations of the rally.

Why do we need your e-mail address?

Your e-mail address is important because it is the only way we can keep you up to date on how you can prepare for the Nebolus Rally in Fulda. We also invite you by email to take part in an online survey. We will conduct two short surveys in total, which is why you will also receive two emails from us. We will raffle off 10 gift vouchers among all participants. The winners will be notified by e-mail. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We keep your e-mail address safe and do not pass it on to other people. We will delete your email address at the end of the rally.

How exactly does Nebolus Fulda work?

As soon as you have registered for Nebolus Fulda, you will receive further information by e-mail. The starting point of the rally in Fulda is May 18 (or June 8 for the second round). You start from your school with your group staggered, i.e. with a short distance to the next group. As soon as you start with your team, all you have to do is follow the instructions in the Nebolus app. If you get stuck, that’s no problem. You can reach us by phone and our Nebolus buddies will be on hand along the entire rally route to support you if necessary.

The Nebolus Rally takes place on two consecutive days: as on the first day, the teams start at different times. Once you have completed all the stations and hopefully solved the mystery of Emma, it’s back to school. You can find the resolution there.

After the Rallye-Fulda, we will raffle off 10 gift vouchers among all participants.

Who is behind Nebolus Fulda?
